Another question

So a question has come up about the 2 healthy snack rule. Can you only have 2 healthy snacks or just a minimum of 2 healthy snacks to get your points? What do you think? Also, Kenna, I've received your money. We are currently up to $150.00. Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Here's my opinion...
2 healthy snacks one between bfast. and lunch and one between lunch and dinner is optimal. If you over do it you are just over eating. (in my opinion) unless of course you are filling up on vegtables you can't really gain excess from a vegtable but, a whole wheat cracker several times a day is no good. I think it's just comes down to what you feel good about.

Use your best judgement. If you feel guilty for eating a 3rd snack then it's probably not a good Idea but, on the other hand if you really feel like you need that extra handful of carrots or yogurt to get through the day. No biggie. Everyone has different bodies and different needs. I know some of you are nursing and that requires more calaries than others.

phew. That was probably longer than it needed to be.

I think that two healthy snacks plus three meals is plenty, even if you are nursing a baby. Maybe just bump up the portions of the meals and snacks to accommodate for increased caloric needs?
